About Andre The Giant

Andre’s strength can’t be measured in any way possible. However, it was quite evident from his performance in the wrestling events that he was very much into physical exercises. It also confirmed that he naturally possessed high strength and structure. According to resources, he used weight lifting as a means to rehabilitate himself after suffering from a severe back injury. It explains the remarkable strength he possessed in his body.

According to a sports interview, Andre was quite delighted after he realized that he could lift a car easily. He loved repositioning his friend’s car while they’ were not looking at him. Hence, according to the facts, he was a muscular build and strengthened person.

His childhood

Andre had a massive frame ever since he was born; however, he grew up to become a 7 feet 4 inches tall man with a weight of over 500 pounds. Even at the age of 12, he weighed almost 200 pounds and was already a 6 feet tall child. He left his home when he was 14 and return after five years, but it ends quite tragically because his mother couldn’t even recognize him.

The eighth wonder of the world

His life was quite charming, but even he had to face his share of sorrows. Every other stared at him all the time because of his strange build. It is understandable because he wore a men’s shoe in size 26. He was a bit exhausted because of his body structure, which he said in an interview, that he spend as much money as needed to spend a day per week like a normal human being.

He explained his life issues and stated children were afraid of him even though they loved him on television. It made him sad and disheartened that kids ran from him because of his gigantic body and unusual face. Most of the adults were intentionally hurtful towards him. However, he found his refuge in the QVC channel, which allowed him to shop without attracting regular people’s attention.

So, this is how sad and disheartening life was lead by the eighth wonder of the world, Andre the giant.

His death

He passed away unexpectedly in his sleep in January 1993. The reason for his death was his unique body. He was a gigantic person with a problem of extreme production of growth hormones in his body. The hormones added a lot of strain on his heart; thus, he died because of heart failure. He made his great place into the list of the entertainment legends of the world. And indeed, he was the strongest man in the world until his last breath.
